How to become a real estate appraiser
To start, you are required to meet the minimum education hours set by the Appraisal Qualifications Board (AQB) and your state. Then you can apply for your trainee license.
You will work alongside a supervisory appraiser who is responsible for signing off on your experience hours.

The Appraiser Diversity Initiative (ADI) was created to attract new entrants to the appraiser field, help overcome barriers to entry, and foster diversity in the profession. The Appraisal Institute (AI), Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and the National Urban League are leading partners on the initiative, and Better is proud to have recently joined their efforts as a sponsor.
